My Name is Abigail Dankwa and I am a Multi Camera and Fixed Rig TV Director, who has series directed award winning shows from BAFTA's Best Entertainment programme*, Life and Rhymes, (presented by the late Benjamin Zephaniah, for Sky Arts), to RTS' Best Entertainment programme, The Big Breakfast (reboot presented by Mo Gilligan and AJ Odudu, for C4) and Grierson nominated, Grayson's Art Club (presented by Grayson Perry, for C4). Some of my other credits as studio director include, Have I Got News For You, Pointless and Pointless Celebs, Lingo, The Big Soap Quiz, Saturday Mash Up Live!, Its Clarkson on TV**, and Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club**, The Apprentice: You're Fired** and as a Gallery Director on Fixed Rig shows, I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother and 24 Hours in A&E. * The full title of this BAFTA award is the Lew Grade Award for Best Entertainment Programme and coincidently, I am a Lew Grade Scholar and Alumnae of the National Film and Television School ** as Series Director |
